Eric Yip is an advertising / commercial and portrait photographer based in Sydney, Australia focussing on people and movement to create dynamic, energetic and rich images.
Using his experience in creating images in a multitude of scenarios and locations, his images showcase athletes and active lifestyles in images that are emotive. He photographs cross-fitters, runners, dancers, triathletes, yoga, fighters and just about any other physical form that makes a compelling photograph.
As a photographer that uses images to form visual-narratives to convey stories, he has the ability to bring brands closer to their audience through the photographs he creates.
He is involved from concept development, execution to post-production / retouching to ensure briefs are hit with accuracy; though will work in parts with his production team where required.
Whether creating images for marketing / branding, image libraries, campaigns or portraiture, his attention to detail and ability to connect with his subject allows him to make authentic visuals on-location and in-studio.
The team he works with must have beer and chips after tearing down a set and / or clearing a location; c-stands, scrims and lights are hard work!
Will travel for work only if he is allowed to make pictures.
He is also the father of Kai and enjoys beer with chips on any given day.
He has had the pleasure to work with:
