THE LOOK OF SOUND
There's a beautiful magic that happens when people connect with their truest selves, especially when nestled deep within the embrace of nature. We made these images with Olga, a truly remarkable sound healer, amidst the breathtaking grandeur of the Glass House Mountains.
Olga’s practice is a journey into creating serene and restorative environments, utilising an array of tools and instruments that have its roots in ancient practices. From the resonant hum of singing bowls to the gentle ripple of chimes, each piece contributes to a symphony of healing. And, with the ethereal wisps of smoke from purifying sage, she prepares a space for profound connection and release.
Our time was more than a creative exercise; it was an experience.
It was about witnessing the profound, almost tangible, connection between humanity and the natural world. Olga stood rooted and graceful amidst the forest, her arms open, inviting the verdant energy of the pines to envelop her. The soft, dappled light filtering through the canopy, creating an aura of deep peace.
Even the earthy, organic shapes of her natural instruments, suspended and swaying gently, resonated with the power of the landscape; a communion of sight, sound and scent.
Our senses, after all, are the universal conduits that bind us to everything around us.
We carefully considered the light, every subtle shift, allowing it to sculpt and define the moments we captured; there’s an innate beauty in how natural light falls, revealing everything it touches in the most authentic way. These images, created from deliberate attention, speaks volumes about the power of natural light in bringing a story to life..
For us, the most compelling photographs emerge from a space of true collaboration and trust. When everyone involved feels safe enough to be vulnerable, to emote, and to reveal that which makes them unique. It's in these unfeigned moments that we find the heart of a story, crafting visual assets that are not just pictures, but visuals of  genuine connections.
You just have to be there to press the button.
